The short version

Cold Winter Fishing does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, because it has no way to. There is no account, no server, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party code of any kind. The app makes zero outbound network requests. Everything the game remembers about you stays on your device, inside the app's own private storage, until you delete the app or reset your progress.

What is stored, and where

All of the following is written only to the app's private storage on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere, bundled into any file you share, or accessible to any other app.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, browsing history, or any device or advertising identifier. We do not use cookies, because the app has no web content and makes no network connections. There is no in-app account, so there is nothing tied to your identity anywhere off your device.

Permissions, and exactly why we ask

Camera — requested only when you tap "Take a photo" on a trophy card or your angler portrait. The picture is resized and saved into the app's private storage. It is never uploaded.
Photo library (read) — requested only when you tap "Choose from library". A single image you pick is copied into the app; the library is never scanned or listed in the background.
Photo library (add) — requested only when you tap "Save to Photos" to export a trophy image you already own back to your camera roll.
Notifications — local notifications only, scheduled entirely on your device: an optional daily reminder, bite-window alerts from the in-game weather model, and tournament close warnings. No push notification service is used and no token is ever generated or sent anywhere.

You can grant, deny, or revoke every one of these at any time in your device's Settings for Cold Winter Fishing. None of them are required to play — declining any of them simply disables that optional feature.

Children's privacy

Cold Winter Fishing does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, regardless of age, because the app collects no personal information from anyone at all. The app contains no chat, no user-generated content shared with others, no account creation, and no third-party advertising.

Third-party services

None. Cold Winter Fishing links no analytics library, no advertising network, no crash-reporting service, and no cloud backend. Interface sound effects and music are static assets bundled with the app (credited in-app under Settings › About); they do not run code or communicate with anything.

Your data, your control

View it — everything the game stores about you is visible inside the app itself: your Profile, Journal, Inventory, and Settings screens.
Delete part of it — Settings › Your data › Reset all progress wipes your save file and every photo the game has stored, immediately and irreversibly.
Delete all of it — deleting the app from your device removes every byte it ever wrote, since nothing exists outside the app's own sandbox.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted at this same address with a new effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes, if any, will also be noted in the app's release notes.
